The Flower Festival
at Strawberry Hill House
We’re all excitedly looking forward to the 2025 Flower Festival at Strawberry Hill House. We will be serving barista coffee, house-baked cakes, freshly prepared food and a full bar for bubbles, spritz and tipples!
We will also be serving delicious Picnics and alfresco Afternoon Teas on a pre-booked basis. This means you can avoid any queues and come to the dedicated pick-up for your take away picnic or afternoon tea, to enjoy in the gardens or the café (subject to space).

Picnics are handmade by the Roots & Berries chefs and bakers, and are freshly prepared on the day. We use the freshest ingredients from excellent suppliers to make delicious food for you to enjoy and be part of your memorable day.
To book, just complete the form to let us know how many of the classic menu and how many of the garden (vegetarian) menu you’d like, as well as any medical allergies or intolerances.
Picnics are supplied in recyclable and compostable packaging, with a plate, cutlery and napkin for each guest.
Please come to the collection point by the Garden Café in your booking hour. We look forward to seeing you!
Collection: please come to the Picnic Collection Point on the terrace by The Garden Café to collect your order in your time slot.
We are committed to sustainability, all picnics are served in compostable and recyclable packaging and include compostable cutlery, plates & napkins.
Please consume your picnic within four hours of collection and if there are any leftovers – please refrigerate!
Picnics are made in our kitchens where allergens are present so there is always a risk of cross-contamination, please take care. If you have any questions, please ask a member of our team.

Flower Festival Picnic Booking
Flower Festival Afternoon Tea
Bubbles or drinks do not need to be pre-ordered, as they can be selected when you arrive at the café.
Nb. the afternoon tea menus are not suitable for vegans.
Our Flower Festival afternoon tea is available Friday 12th - 14th September. This is our much loved traditional afternoon teas, served packaged ready to collect, take away and enjoy in the grounds. So grab a deckchair or bring a picnic blanket and enjoy!
Please note that we make all the Afternoon Teas fresh to order, and we are expecting large numbers, so do be sure to pre-book in advance. Please note the menus are fixed and substitutes are not available — though you are welcome to share and swap!
