If you would like to host your party or gathering in an atmospheric venue with delicious chef made food and a selection of excellent wines and craft beers, then look no further!

We have wonderful platters of big canapés to accompany bubbles or cocktails at a drinks party. Or if you would prefer a relaxed night of Sharing Boards or a Feast… let us take care of the catering for you!

Summer Events Catering at Roots & Berries cafes in London parks

We know how to put on a great party, having served tens of thousands of guests at many hundreds of events.

We love a good celebration, and whether it’s a small family christening afternoon tea, a wedding, a BBQ feast for 100 or a special gastronomic dinner, we know that delicious and beautiful food and drinks make the occasion truly special and memorable.

What we can do

At The Skylark Café we’ve provided the food and drinks to countless day time celebrations for many years. In the evening, you can enjoy exclusive private hire of the café for you and your guests to enjoy delicious food and drinks as the sun sets over beautiful Wandsworth Common.

At The Rookery Café as well as evening private hire, we’ve also provided corporate catering to film and TV crews, as well as larger scale festival catering to events on the Common for up to 4,000 attendees.

The Tea House in Bishop’s Park, Fulham opened in summer 2021 and can host small children’s parties in the loggia area.

Pitzhanger Pantry is a recent addition to our family, where we will provide onsite catering to daytime events in the Rickyard, at the heart of beautiful and friendly Walpole Park.

Roots&Berries Celebrations

We love a good celebration, and whether it’s a small family christening, afternoon tea, a wedding, a BBQ feast for 100 or a special gastronomic dinner, we know that delicious and beautiful food and drinks make the occasion truly special and memorable.

Party Catering at Roots & Berries cafes in London parks

Our daytime events catering tend to be picnic style lunches, afternoon tea and children’s parties. In the evenings things step up a level with our: famous BBQ’s, sparkling drinks parties with canapés, atmospheric candlelit dinners, grazing menus and our fabulous seasonal feasts for top restaurant food in a relaxed, friendly and unique setting.

 

We’ve also had the pleasure of catering for many weddings within the beautiful venues at Pitzhanger Manor and within our own venue, The Skylark Café.

Our drinks list includes a range natural and organic wines to suit all tastes, and if you have a special requests we can arrange this with Bancroft Wines, our principal supplier. For craft beer, we work with Pig’s Ear, one of the craftiest of suppliers with a huge range of artisan brews.

 

We stock premium spirits including locally distilled Hayman’s Gin, the oldest family gin distillers in England. For cocktails, it’s been a pleasure to bring on board Tom Savano, whose amazing creations are guaranteed to get the party started!

The Skylark Café on Wandsworth Common. A Victorian farm house at the heart of one of London’s most beautiful commons.

The Rookery Café on Streatham Common. A charming Edwardian pavilion at the entrance to the magical Rookery Gardens, a true London neighbourhood hidden gem.

The Paddenswick Tea Gardens in Ravenscourt Park. A Victorian stable that is now home to our pop up cafe in one of West London prettiest parks.

The Tea House in Bishop’s Park, Fulham. The Victorian “Refreshment House” in the Bishop of London’s Historic Garden.

The Garden Café at Strawberry Hill House. Horace Walpole’s Fairy Tale “Little Gothic Castle”, with the café located in the Orangery overlooking the beautiful garden and magnificent Waldegrave Wing.
