4.1 Making a Booking

4.2 Booking Confirmation

Your booking constitutes a binding contract between you and Roots & Berries.
4.3 Minimum Party Requirements
Some bookings may have minimum or maximum party size requirements. These will be clearly stated during the booking process.
4.4 Dietary Requirements and Allergies
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies when notified in advance. However, while we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that our food is completely free from allergens due to the nature of our kitchen operations. If you have severe allergies, please contact us directly before making a booking.
4.5 Children
Children are welcome at our cafés. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times and ensuring they do not disturb other guests.
4.6 Our Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a booking if:

5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by You
Afternoon Tea and Picnic Bookings:

More than 72 hours before your booking: Full refund or reschedule available.

24-48 hours before your booking: 50% refund or option to reschedule

Less than 24 hours before your booking: No refund
To cancel a booking, please contact us at enquiries@rootsandberries.co.uk For Afternoon Tea, at least three days (72 hours) notice is required.
Merchandise Orders
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel merchandise orders within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. Goods must be returned in their original condition. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the goods are faulty.
5.2 Cancellation by Us
We may need to cancel or reschedule your booking due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will:

Notify you as soon as reasonably possible

Offer you an alternative date/time or a full refund

Not be liable for any additional costs or losses you may incur
5.3 No-Shows
If you fail to arrive for your booking without prior notice, we reserve the right to treat this as a cancellation with no refund.
5.4 Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 14 working days using the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.
6. Pricing and Payment
6.1 Prices
All prices displayed on our Website are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT at the applicable rate.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, any changes will not affect bookings or orders already confirmed.
6.2 Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept the following payment methods:

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card details.

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, images, and prices. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, or error-free.
7.2 Availability
All merchandise is subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative product.
7.3 Delivery
Delivery terms, including costs, timeframes, and geographic restrictions, will be clearly stated during checkout. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
7.4 Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If you receive faulty or incorrect goods, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange for collection or return (at our cost) and provide a full refund or replacement.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.
