The Rookery Café is your dog-friendly café on Streatham Common serving specialty coffee, all-day breakfast, and brunch with wonderful views looking west across one of London’s most vibrant communities.
We have indoor seating (pre-book or walk-ins) and plenty of large parasol-covered outdoor seating—perfect for families, dog walkers, and anyone wanting to enjoy the common. Venue hire available for celebrations and private events. Come fly a kite or pair your visit with a drink from the nearby Inkspot Brewery.

There’s something for every taste, even your four legged friend!
We’re open seven days a week for al fresco and indoor dining, or to grab something to go.
We’re fully licensed, so you can enjoy a carefully selected wine, craft beer or locally distilled Hayman’s Gin alongside your meal. For our youngest guests we serve Cumberland sausages, chicken goujons, chunky fish fingers with French fries, simple toasties or pasta with homemade sauces, plus plenty of treats.

Thoughtfully prepared by our chefs and bakers, our seasonal Afternoon Tea brings together warm scones, delicate savouries and beautifully crafted little cakes—all served on a classic tiered stand, with a selection of loose leaf teas from around the world.
*Includes a £2 donation to the wonderful Friends of Streatham Common who help ensure this beautiful green space is so well cared for all to enjoy.
