The rooms are ready, and we can’t wait to serve you in our lovely and inviting space.
Built in the early 1800s by regency chandelier-maker John Blades, Brockwell Hall is a light-filled architectural gem at the centre of the park—and we’re thrilled to be bringing it back to life with great coffee, fresh food, and a warm welcome.
At Roots&Berries, we’re creating a café for everyone—somewhere to pause, meet, refuel and enjoy, whether you’re a local or just passing through.

We serve delicious all-day food from our counter, including fresh-filled focaccias, chef-made soups, quiches and seasonal specials.

Afternoon Tea on the Common

Thoughtfully prepared by our chefs and bakers, our seasonal Afternoon Tea brings together warm scones, delicate savouries and beautifully crafted little cakes—all served on a classic tiered stand, with a selection of loose leaf teas from around the world.
†Free glass of Prosecco for Mother’s Day on 15th March for any adult ordering Afternoon Tea.

We love putting on a party! And have provided the food and drinks for countless celebrations over the years from intimate gatherings, birthday parties, weddings and school or work socials.
