We’re here to provide great coffee and food, fresh air and a break from the city

ON STREATHAM COMMON

Streatham Common has a wonderful open vista looking west, with an amazing playground at the bottom, a majestic avenue of London Plane trees running its entire length, all the way to the top of the common where you will find our dog-friendly café beside the entrance to the Rookery Gardens and the children’s paddling pool which opens to the public each summer. Whether you're here for breakfast, brunch, or coffee after a walk on the common, we’re your neighbourhood spot for good food and community.

Streatham Common

The Grade 2 listed Victorian gardens are a genuine hidden gem in London’s neighbourhoods. You can stroll, sit and relax in the orchard, wander around the formal ornamental gardens, explore the Victorian Cascade or sunbathe on the meadow. Tucked behind the gardens is the legendary Inkspot Brewery, run by Tom and Bradley who brew the finest craft beer and keep the good times rolling.

Happy and healthy communities make for happy and healthy lives.

But it’s the community of Streatham which makes it what it is. The formal gardens are looked after by SCCOOP (a local co-operative), the most wonderful community garden you can imagine, and the Friends group which helps keep everything working and at its best.

The Rookery Café sits at the centre of it all, a century-old, forest green pavilion, that today is a meeting place for everyone.
