We’re here to provide great coffee, good food and a break from the city at The Skylark Café on Wandsworth Common.
As a local family, we were inspired to create a dog-friendly café where everyone could enjoy good, thoughtfully prepared food and drink with friends and loved ones, making time spent in this beautiful green space special.
In April 2014, we opened The Skylark Café, taking over the existing park café. We renovated the space, created fresh breakfast and brunch menus, brought in new specialty coffee suppliers and developed our team. Since then, the café has become a much-loved neighbourhood spot—known for relaxed weekend brunches, busy weekday coffee catch-ups, and its role as a natural meeting point for the community.

Wandsworth Common
Whether it’s a sunny picnic, a game of tennis, morning dog walks or watching your child take their first pedal on a bike, Wandsworth Common is woven into everyday local life—a place where memories are made.
During the week, locals catch up over coffee, walk the dog, or play with the kids. At weekends, everyone’s out enjoying the Common.
Our Community
The Skylark sits comfortably at the heart of the Common—whether it’s families passing through after playground time, walkers finishing the Capital Ring, or supporters heading to nearby sports matches.
We’re proud to support local organizations and causes close to our community’s hearts, including the Friends of Wandsworth Common, SPEAR, Wandsworth Foodbank, Critical NHS, and local sports clubs.
